Join us Tuesday, September 24th for the event of the Feast at the beautiful Glacier Canyon Lodge conference center. The Family extravaganza combines a number of activities on one evening for great fun but also gives you more family time the rest of the Feast. Dress for the event is dressy casual.
From 5:00-6:30 enjoy a fabulous family buffet dinner, enhanced with live instrumental background music, while fellowshipping with brethren. The menu includes sliced roast beef, garlic mashed potatoes, vegetable medley, pasta primavera, mixed green salad, assorted rolls, coffee, iced tea and milk.
From 6:30-7:30 you will be entertained by your brethren in the Talent Showcase.
The Family Dance lasts from 7:45-9:45. Get out on the dance floor and dance to your heart's content. Our talented DJ will keep you smiling and dancing, and requests are encouraged. The music volume will be low enough to allow conversations at the tables throughout the room.
See yourself on the big screen. At the Feast you will notice our photographers taking photos of people and events. During most of the Family Extravaganza a slideshow will run showing the people, events, fellowship, fun and scenery from the Wisconsin Dells Feast.
Take a great photo to remember this Feast and the friends and family you spent it with. A photo area will be set up with a scenic backdrop, a festival banner, photographic lists and some simple props to add to the fun. Bring your cameral and take the memories home with you.
During most of the evening there will be a cash bar, unlimited free soda, light snacks and desserts like chips and dip, cookies, brownies and more.
The Teen Dance will run from 10:00-11:30. Teens, your service coupon will earn you an ice cream sundae from a special sundae bar.
One admission price gets you all this and your wristband or hand stamp will allow you to come and go as you please.
Adults - $20, Seniors - $15, Children (3-10) - $13. Children two and under may eat from their parents plates for free. These prices are significantly lower than the actual cost of the event in the hopes that everyone who wants to, will be able to attend. We welcome donations to help cover the costs and to help others attend.
The price for the evening without the buffet is $10 per person or $30 per family.
We have a limit of 350 people for the buffet, so reserve your seat now before the Feast. A registration/meal reservation form can be obtained by emailing Dan Dowd at email@example.com.
Mr. Ken Shoemaker, our music director at Gatlinburg, needs additional volunteers to sing in the Festival chorale. He has been able to contact some volunteers but others are still needed. If you would like to sing in the chorale or if you signed up earlier and have not yet been in contact with Mr. Shoemaker, please communicate with him immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 937-779-7690. Your help will be much appreciated.

Greetings Feastgoers 2013,
We are now eight full weeks from keeping the Feast and time is racing by. I hope your preparations are coming along well. We're progressing well with our preparation for the Feast relative to running a smooth and helpful Feast for you and yours. Our speaking schedule is set and those speaking are creating the best message or messages that are designed for your encouragement and growth. We also have our department heads all set and they are planning ahead to give their best service to you.
On the Activity Schedule, we are having the Teen Dance on Sunday evening this year. The Feast starts on Wednesday evening and I try to provide the Teen Dance as early as possible, but because of the configuration of the High Sabbath and weekly Sabbath, the best time for us to prepare (decorations, etc.) for the Teen Dance is Sunday afternoon (the Teen Dance is from 7-10 pm on Sunday evening). Logistics play a big role in the coordination of all church activities at the Feast, especially those held in the Concention Center, so Sunday evening is our best date for the Teen Dance (7-10 pm).
Please pray that all things will work out in the preparation of the Feast at Panama City Beach. I am preparing the Feast Brochure for Panama City Beach and that will go to print in mid-August. We'll have them available at the Information Area at the beginning of the Feast.
