For the 15th consecutive year, the San Diego area will host the Feast of Tabernacles at the California Center for the Arts in Escondido, California.  Escondido is a northern suburb of San Diego, about 30 minutes north of downtown and San Diego’s Lindbergh International Airport. The airports in Ontario and Orange County are about one and a half hours away. Los Angeles Airport is approximately two and a half hours away.

The Escondido area offers less traffic congestion than central San Diego. “North County” also offers a variety of housing options from homes and condos on the beach (25 to 30 minutes away) to economy properties near the meeting facility. Available family activities in the San Diego area include the world-famous San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park, the maritime exhibitions on San Diego’s harbor, Old Town San Diego, Sea World, the San Diego Zoo’s Wild Animal Park outside Escondido, Lego Land in nearby Carlsbad, the rustic gold mining town of Julian and the beautiful wine country of nearby Temecula.

We will host a number of special activities for all age groups, including a Family Day, teen activities, Sabbath school activities for children and teens, young adult activities, seniors’ lunch and possibly a dinner concert. We are expecting about 600 in attendance. It is a smaller and intimate feast site and all located on one floor in a bright and cheery setting. Average temperatures range from highs in the upper 80s to lows in the 60s.

As information about the Feast Site is updated it will be posted here.
