Come and enjoy the 2012 Feast of Tabernacles in New York’s beautiful Adirondack Region. Lake George is a 32-mile-long lake fed by mammoth underground springs, flowing north, emptying into Lake Ticonderoga, and is described as one of the most beautiful bodies of water in the world. If you drive to the top of Prospect Mountain you will have a breathtaking view of the lake and also the mountains as far away as Vermont and New Hampshire.

The brilliant gold, amber and crimson fall foliage will provide a stunning physical backdrop for the spiritual feast we all come to enjoy. The area provides opportunities for hiking, biking, scenic cruises and horseback riding, and the lake is surrounded by more than a dozen quaint little towns, villages and hamlets.

The area is rich in early American history, specifically the period of the French and Indian War, but there are many other attractions, such as a performing arts theater, a world-class art museum, the Six-Flags Great Escape Theme Park, miniature golf, family fun centers, boating, fishing, golfing and year-round “snow” tubing, just to name a few.

Please note that many of the housing units listed are not subject to sales tax because they meet all three conditions: 1) the unit comprises a sleeping area, a cooking area, a dining area, a bathroom and 2) it is rented for at least seven consecutive days and 3) the operator does not provide house cleaning, maid service, room service, or other common hotel services.  Housing descriptions below clearly state which properties have no tax.

Services will be held at the Fort William Henry Conference Center, which will accommodate about 400 people and is ideal for lingering conversations and fellowship. Parking is conveniently located on-site, and most accommodations are within a few minutes’ drive. This is a “restricted” site with capacity between 400 and 500. We will try to accommodate all transfer requests, but there may be a few denials.

As information about the Feast Site is updated it will be posted here.
